Bong Ra

8

Bong-Ra comes back armed with enough beats to make everybody rave till late after dawn, including the two cover models. He then hands up the mixer to four veterans of the breakcore scene (Enduser, Duran Duran Duran, Drop The Lime and Parasite) before inviting four youngsters (Cake Builder, Cardopusher, Dr Bastardo and Ace Of Breaks) and giving them an opportunity to demonstrate their remixing talents. 12 dancefloor tracks made to stimulate your chemical of choice; in traditional Bong-Ra style, nothing is left sacred; drugs, sex and wreck n' roll... You don't need a DJ anymore with "Stereohype Heroin Hookers". Warn the subwoofers and the dancefloors, there is some serious raving coming their way.

Cdatakill, Detritus, Lapsed, Mad EP

6

Following the acclaimed “Valentine” CD released on Ad Noiseam in October 2006, Cdatakill returns with “Bleeding Hearts”, a companion to the full length album, spread on two records. The first vinyl releases by Zak Roberts (Cdatakill) since 2003’s “Southeast Aurora Syndrome” (on the Australian Hardline Rekordingz label), the two volumes of “Bleeding Hearts” act not only as an extension of “Valentine”, whose tracks get remixed over nine new versions, but also as a family and friends meeting. Nex to Cdatakill’s new “Meth-Head Trance”, a dark, broken and pummeling track that confirm his mastering of the most shattering of breakcore, the first remix comes from Übergang, the new project of Christoph de Babalon, who had offered Cdatakill his first release with the “Search and Destroy” compilation on his CFET label in early 2000. It is followed by a melodic drum’n’bass version of “You Are Mine” by Enduser, with which Cdatakill has shared the stage on many occasions. Detritus and Lapsed, two of Cdatakill label mates on Ad Noiseam, then get their first appearance on vinyl, with Detritus’s guitar-infused angry remix of “No Brakes” and Lapsed’s syncopated, distorted hip hop beat on “Hungry”. The first “Bleeding Hearts” is then closed by Mad EP, who once again manages to combine the electronic weight of the original “You Are Mine” with his orchestral narrative. More of an homage to Cdatakill’s massive, dub-brewed breaks than a confrontation of genres, “Bleeding Hearts” acts as a new confirmation of this long running act’s influence on the current breakcore, drum’n’bass and industrial scenes, and result in a diverse, hand-picked selection of remixes from Cdatakill’s friends and collaborators.

Enduser, Line 47, Machine Girl

4

Re-mastered, re-cut and given a whole record on their own, the four tracks written by Enduser and Line 47 back in 2007 get a second life on Ad Noiseam (Orignially produced on Sonic Terror in 2003). Ranging from the most aggressive and noisy breakcore to melodic, syncopated material, the material on this record shows both producers at the top of their form and still is, 5 years after their original release on Sonicterror, a pearl of the breakcore scene.

Enduser

10

A new major contribution to Enduser's growing discography, “Pushing Back” sees Lynn Standafer integrate new elements to his otherwise typical sound, and take its listener to a new memorable ride. An artist recognised as one of the most important of today breakcore and drum'n'bass scene, Enduser had long wished to release an album where his hard beats and sudden breaks would be presented together with specially recorded vocals and prominent melodies. This project finally sees the light of the day with “Pushing Back”, an album on which the listener gets both the heavily pounding beats of such tracks as the title track or the opening “Starting... now” as well as the vocal contribution of Kazumi (known for her work on Planet Mu and City Centre Offices), Shadow Huntaz's Nongenetic and Chemlab's Jared Louche. These three vocalists and their very different styles are all integrated seamlessly into Enduser's sounds, and join the remixes by label mates Bong-Ra and DJ Hidden on the surprisingly coherent patchwork that is “Pushing Back”, an album at the perfect meeting point between fury and harmony. Enduser's new album was written over a relatively long period for this prolific artist. A special care to the details and the production has been given on “Pushing Back”, this album reflecting well Enduser's experience and progress along the years. Ad Noiseam is happy to present this new album which marks a decisive point in Enduser's career.

Enduser

10

within the last few years, lynn standafer has become a well-recognized artist in the breakcore scene. his output is tremendous - not too long after 'the end', he now presents his new full length release, ‘form without function’ (featuring guest appearances by dj hidden, speaker wrath, somatic responses, submerged and silentkiller). 'form without function' follows what began with 'comparing paths': a movement from the raw sampling and breakbeat madness of his earlier works to the 21st century version of drum and bass - drum and bass with more breaks, ragga vocals and tight fitting sample work. the most basic foundation of the tracks on this album are a continuation of the sound created by artists like panacea in the 90s - straight-forward d'n'b with mighty, pounding basslines. this foundation is combined with the styles mentioned above - which is more than a 'mixture' - it's a style on it's own - 100% enduser. the rough moods conveyed by many breakcore acts cannot be found here - 'form without function' is a straight and tight release that does not cause eardrums to shatter. the speed is turned down in 'keep telling' which gives the listener time to relax but 'the choke' will get you moving again. the slightly melancholic 'by a thread' with it's bright piano is the perfect conclusion to the album. a truly fine example of a work of art by one of the innovators of the break based sound.
