Very few people would deny that I Roy was the best dressed DJ to burst out of the Jamaican music scene in the early 1970's. Sartorially speaking but also vocally. His well educated wordings and cleaver use of stories made the listener not only walk away with a great vibe in his head but also leave a little something to think about after the initial rush of the tune had settled down.
