Ketapasando presents “Mesetarian Breaks” (KTPV004): an accelerated journey through the landscapes of breakbeat

Madrid-based label Ketapasando is back with its fourth vinyl release: "Mesetarian Breaks" (KTPV004), a 12" compilation that pays homage to the rhythmic power of breakbeat in all its forms. Four artists, four styles, one common drive: to break the dance floor.

This 180g vinyl EP, with full-color cover art and a silicone protective sleeve, brings together an explosive selection of tracks ranging from the rawest jungle to the darkest technoid, passing through ragga-core and futuristic breaks.

Each track is a declaration of intent signed by key figures from the national and international scene.

• European jungle legend FFF lands with a ragga-core blast loaded with rave DNA and hardcore attitude.

• Berman, an Extremaduran icon based in Madrid and part of Bellota Dubs, displays his sample-chopping style in a tribute to the purest 160 bpm.

• Jailed Jamie, a sound narrator with cinematic vision, creates a track that balances rhythmic aggression and melodic elegance.

• Tarek, the house producer and a regular in Ketapasando's digital catalogue, makes his vinyl debut with a technoid bomb full of tension and deep textures.

“Mesetarian Breaks” isn't just an album: it's a love letter to broken rhythm, an invitation to lose yourself in the sonic subsoil of the peninsula, and a testament to the label's commitment to the most restless and syncopated scene on the electronic scene.
