Dark Acid techno. A superb folder sleeve, and a collection of 7 Dark Acid tunes, from 140 to 170 BPM, featuring artists fromObscur of course, but also from Dosis Decibal, Enfant Sages, S.O.S., Tomeen and last, but not Least, Neurotrope.

Recent Obs.Cur releases have been very good but this one is exceptional. 8 dark hard acid/acidcore tracks in superb gatefold packaging (love the artwork inside the gatefold).
A1 - Acidcore with hard driving acid lines; parts of it are pounding while other parts feel light and trippy.
A2 - Vicous hard acid with wailing, screechy synths; nightmare music at its best.
B1 - Dark melodic acidcore, intense acid line with dark sounds in the background.
B2 - This was was available for free on Soundcloud; I've been playing it for a while and it's a great track. Pounding hard acid, a bit monotonous but in a good way. Great track to mix. This might be a slightly different mix than what was on Soundcloud.
C1 - More dark acid, good use of distortion on the synth line, some filter sweeps, with a wonderful acid line tieing it all together. The break is particularly intense.
C2 - Acidcore with a synth line that sort of swirls around the track, some very good textures here.
D1 - Acidcore with a guitar fuzz effect. A melody comes in after a few min that I don't care for, but still a decent track.
D2 - Very dark and moody acidcore. Has some vocal samples on top that are so filtered and distorted they are unrecognizable; they really add to the moodiness of the track.
