Killawatts 01 review
Here at Killawatts, we like to think we’ve become renowned for pushing the harder sounds of the electronic spectrum at events that have brought people from the four corners of the Uk and beyond, with international artists that have become synonymous within their field.
Now, of course we are celebrating our first vinyl release, here’s the low-down…
The A-side has 2 banging jungletek tracks from Mandidextrous. An artist that has racked up an army of a following through sheer dedication, hard work and strong personality…
“Everyman” and “The Way” combine relentless hardtek grooves with rinsing bass lines and broken beats. These will ignite many a hardcore dancefloor and are two tracks that will wet any self respecting jungletek enthusiasts’ appetite.
The flipside features 2 techno tracks…
One from Maxx Polymeric and 3phase Generator, who have each compiled a long list of vinyl and digital releases on their own Polymeric Records and Generator UK imprints, among various other signings to some highly respected techno labels.
“Justice” features lashings of sub bass, big high end sweeps and driving percussion that would fit well into any techno peak-time performance.
The 2nd features Aimless Audio, a local lad from the hometown of Killawatts Records, Norwich. This guy has a list of releases that have grown to worldwide appeal and is constantly making headway in the techno industries.
“Justice” features reverb enthused Kicks with synth stabs that take the listener somewhere between the local train station and Mars on the midnight express.
Previews are now online and you can pre-order your vinyl now. The official release date is January 6th 2014, so get listening, support the scene and order a copy now.
