Phosphene 04 review

Explorer XTG-457 thought he was alone here... How could he possibly see a group of people in the distance? His mind races. How did they gain access to this area? Who gave them the tools and knowledge?
Do other people know?
Each question leads to two more, so he resolves to go towards them, hoping to ask what they're doing with these machines. When they realise what he's about to do, one of them starts frantically turning
and pressing buttons.
Soon the whole group starts to vibrate, slowly at first, then faster and faster, eventually they disappear completely, leaving only the machines and the questions in our explorer's mind.
