Deep Totured Dubstep ! Electro minimal influences. FAT ! CATERVA is one of the first dubstep live in France. Duo formed by the dj / producer NOPROD and MANNDIBULL began in 2003 using analog machines they mixed with the sound of the violin Anita BOMBA. After Honing experimenter and have their lives breakbeat / dub on the roads undergrounds European festivals, they returned home to create the label Sens Inverse. This label and the party they organize, enabled them to play with artists such as , LesTrolls, Warlock, Bunzero, Mala DMZ, 30Hrz, Egg steep, Ezekiel, 69 Db, Cristal Distortion, The Strange Loops, Ixindamix, Abraxass, Dalek .... All these artists are from different scenes, but no doubt that thanks to this mixture caterva came to do his own Dubstep sound, a mix of syncopated beat, textures and deep meditation dub. Now our two buddies travel Europe in spending their massive and meditative sound, which can't stop capturating public attention and fill up the rooms!

Dernière mouture du KIOSK cette compilation est un grand cru pour ceux qui ont la Georges sèche ;°) et les oreilles curieuses. Elle contient les plus fraiches nouveautés du moment en dubstep et autres sons de la scène électro, regroupant ainsi pas mal de morceaux qui sortiront en vinyl. Sont réunis Pushy!, Krak In Dub, Niveau Zero, Stupid Girl, Dogboy, Mahanee, Caterva, Dj Absurd, Nko & Stereo, MC Lox, MC Samy et les nouveaux venus tels que Sa Bat' Machines, Shaman, Moresounds ou Hupsydown. Last year, a bunch of 12 Techno activists (Sound system, Visuals, Technicians, Photoghrapher, Performers, ...) went to Mongolia with 5 trucks full of features for a Child Homless refuge. Laurent Lemonnier was one of them. He realeased this Movie, telling the story of this travel as well as the story of these childs... During their long travel (over 6 months), they collected sounds and recorded musicians. They also sharesd their way of making music and organising parties with the Mongolians artists. The CD is the result both, of this collboration and the remixes some friends of them did, using the samples of the sound-collection they did bring back. Everything is there for a pure travel into the Si-Fi world on Hecaton... Year 2070. Where 2 twins brothers 'Ethan' the Gangster and ' Demian' the Hacker plays Hyde & Sick with the Techno-Government. Tjhisd project tooks 2 years to come out. All the I.O.T. Familly and surroundings took part in it. A very important project and a beautyfull subject ! ENJOY !
