Shooting breakbeat and drum’n bass into live unexplored areas is one definition of Interlope as the duet is based upon live performances which consist of improvisation and permanent dialogue using samplers, synthesizers, mixing desk and effects... Six years after their first ‘Chip Jockey’, Interlope does it again delivering us the best of three years of sound experiments, recorded live as it is live their music has proven time and again to be at its best. Break-beat fans will be glued to the sound system, gaping; the drum’n’bass fans will be delighted to see that this group experiments with machines far beyond what they did before; the most hermetic ones should admit that it’s artistic work.
